Gallantt Ispat (GALLANTT) has clarified a query from the Exchange regarding its financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2025.

The Exchange had noted that the company's standalone and consolidated financial figures were identical. Gallantt Ispat explained that Gallantt Medicity Developers Private Limited (Medicity) is an 'Associate' company, not a 'Subsidiary'.

Under accounting standards, the financial figures of 'Associate' companies are not consolidated in the same manner as 'Subsidiaries'. Crucially, Medicity has no revenue or profit.

Therefore, Gallantt Ispat's standalone and consolidated financial results appear the same because the Associate company has no material financial impact requiring individual consolidation of figures. The company asserts it has fully complied with all relevant accounting standards.
