Vedanta Limited — Important, 31-07-2025: Updates

Vedanta announced enhancements to its Gamsberg Phase II Zinc project, adding USD 84 million to the capital cost. This will boost plant throughput by 10%, metal recovery by 3%, and increase capacity from 4 Mtpa to 8.4 Mtpa ore, producing an extra 220 ktpa metal concentrate. This makes Vedanta Zinc International South Africa's largest zinc producer. Separately, the company will not pursue its scheme to transfer General Reserve to Retained Earnings due to evolving strategic priorities.
