Mahindra & Mahindra is selling its entire 35% stake in associate Mahindra Ideal Lanka (MILPL) to Ideal Motors Private Limited. Post-transaction, MILPL will no longer be an M&M associate.

MILPL's FY25 gross revenue was Rs. 50.4 Cr, and its net worth was Rs. 4.1 Cr, contributing 0.002% to M&M's consolidated net worth. The sale consideration is LKR 50 million (approx. Rs. 1.4 Cr). This transaction is at arm's length. M&M confirmed Sri Lanka remains a key market, maintaining its product sales and service via distribution channels.
