POWERGRID is notifying shareholders about the transfer of equity shares and unpaid dividends to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) Authority. This applies to shares where dividends have been unclaimed for seven consecutive years. Shares related to financial year 2017-18 or earlier with unclaimed dividends have already been transferred. Shareholders whose shares are due for transfer in November 2025 have been notified and must submit documents to claim unclaimed dividends by October 16 to avoid transfer. Shareholders can reclaim transferred assets from IEPF. Physical shareholders should update their KYC details for mandatory electronic dividend payments.
