Websol Energy System's board met, approving key strategic moves. The company appointed Mrs. Rupanjana De, a seasoned Company Secretary with 24 years of corporate law experience, as an Independent Director for three years. On the operational front, their Phase II expansion of an additional 600 MW solar cell line at Falta is nearing completion. Trial runs are slated for September 2025, with commercial production expected by October 2025. This expansion will double the company's solar cell capacity from 600 MW to 1200 MW, funded entirely by internal accruals.
