Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited — Credit Ratings, 31-07-2025: Credit Rating

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy (SWSOLAR) has seen some of its credit ratings revised by Acuité Ratings. Long-term bank loan ratings for a ₹6825 Cr facility were upgraded to ACUITE BBB | Stable, and short-term ratings for ₹425 Cr bank loans and ₹100 Cr commercial paper were upgraded to ACUITE A3+. A new ₹200 Cr long-term bank loan facility was also assigned ACUITE BBB | Stable. While upgrades typically signal improved creditworthiness and can positively impact borrowing costs, SWSOLAR has stated it has not accepted these ratings and is in the process of appealing them.
