Gujarat Themis Biosyn (GTBL) has announced a board meeting outcome, highlighting key strategic and operational shifts. For Q1, standalone net profit was ₹9.06 Cr (down from ₹13.24 Cr YoY) on total income of ₹36.15 Cr (down from ₹39.35 Cr).
The board set September 5, 2025, as the record date for the FY25 dividend. Significantly, GTBL has decided *not* to proceed with the proposed merger with Themis Medicare, choosing instead to focus on its core fermentation-based pharmaceutical business. The company's new state-of-the-art API plant in Vapi began commercial production in May 2025. Mr. Nihar Parikh was appointed as an Additional Non-Executive Independent Director.
