Samvardhana Motherson International (SAMIL) has formed a strategic Joint Venture with Taiwan-based Macauto Industrial Co. This partnership strengthens SAMIL's Modules & Polymer Products Division, expanding its portfolio to include advanced manual and motorized sunshades and wind deflectors for passenger and commercial vehicles. The collaboration combines Macauto's engineering expertise with Motherson's strong interior capabilities, creating integrated solutions for OEMs. A new India-based JV will be established, with SAMIL holding a majority 50%+1 share, and its revenues will be consolidated with SAMIL, unlocking significant insourcing opportunities.
