Ravindra Energy's associate, Energy In Motion (EIM), achieved a significant milestone. EIM's 55-ton electric tractor "Ashwa" secured ARAI certification and completed its first commercial sale. This establishes Ashwa as India's first battery-swappable, fully certified 55-ton electric tractor compliant with CMVR norms, marking a breakthrough in heavy-duty transport electrification. EIM's business model involves selling bare tractors and providing long-term contracts for battery packs and charging infrastructure. Ravindra Energy holds a 49.5% stake in EIM, positioning it to benefit from this strategic entry into the clean mobility sector.
