Graphite India reported a decline in recent consolidated performance, with Net Sales at Rs. 665 Cr (down 8.7% y-o-y), EBITDA at Rs. 193 Cr (down 37.1%), and Net Profit at Rs. 133 Cr (down 43.6%). Despite this, the company announced a significant 25,000 TPA graphite electrode capacity expansion for Rs. 600 Cr, including Rs. 100 Cr for captive renewable power. The expansion will be phased over 12 and 36 months. India's robust steel production growth (9.3% y-o-y) and the global shift towards Electric Arc Furnaces are positive long-term drivers. The company maintains a strong balance sheet with Rs. 4,173 Cr consolidated net cash.
