ABB India's board has approved a strategic move to evaluate and separate its Robotics business, aligning with the global ABB Group's spin-off plans. The company will appoint valuers for the Robotics segment and incorporate a Wholly Owned Subsidiary (WOS) to house it as a distinct legal entity. The WOS will have an initial authorized capital of 0.01 Cr. This prepares the robotics business for potential future strategic options; however, no divestment decision has been finalized.
