Larsen & Toubro Limited — New Orders, 04-08-2025: Bagging/Receiving of orders/contracts

L&T's Renewables business secured a significant EPC order from a state utility for a 116 MWac Solar PV plant integrated with a 241 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Lakhisarai, Bihar. This project, valued between ₹1,000 Cr and ₹2,500 Cr, extends an earlier phase. The site will become India's largest co-located energy storage facility with 495 MWh total capacity, enabling energy time-shifting for peak demand. The BESS features advanced liquid cooling technology.
