BirlaNu Limited — Important, 04-08-2025: Capacity addition

BirlaNu is strategically expanding into Fibre Cement Boards with a new greenfield plant near Krishnapatnam port, Andhra Pradesh. This Phase I expansion targets 72,000 metric tons per annum capacity, expected to be operational within 18 months. The estimated investment is ₹127 Cr, funded through internal accruals and borrowings. This move aims to scale operations, diversify into premium product lines, and gain competitive advantage by enhancing market accessibility.
