SML Isuzu Limited — Others, 04-08-2025: Disclosure under SEBI Takeover Regulations

Mahindra & Mahindra has completed the acquisition of a controlling stake in SML Isuzu Limited. The company acquired 63,62,306 equity shares, representing 43.96%, from Sumitomo Corporation. Additionally, M&M purchased 21,70,747 equity shares, or 15.00%, from Isuzu Motors Limited. This off-market acquisition, priced at Rs. 650 per share, results in M&M holding a total of 85,33,053 shares, which constitutes 58.96% of SML Isuzu's total equity share capital. This move significantly expands M&M's presence in the automotive sector.
