Escorts Kubota reported Q1 financial results with revenue from operations dipping 2.9% year-on-year to ₹ 2,483.4 Cr. Total tractor volumes saw marginal 0.7% growth, while Construction Equipment volumes declined 23.7% YoY, impacted by inventory clearance of old emission norms. Profit After Tax (PAT) surged to ₹ 1,400.2 Cr, primarily boosted by a ₹ 1,027.6 Cr gain from the completed sale of the Railway Equipment Business. Excluding this, PAT from continuing operations grew 40% to ₹ 372.6 Cr.
