JSW Energy has acquired a 51% majority stake in KSK Water Infrastructures (KWIPL) as part of a settlement plan. KWIPL provides crucial water infrastructure for the 3,600 MW KSK Mahanadi Power Plant, which JSW Energy also owns. This strategic move, costing ₹962 Crores, ensures better operational control, efficiency, and supply reliability for the power plant's water needs, significantly reducing dependency risks. This strengthens JSW Energy's integrated power operations.
