Quadrant Future Tek reported Q1 FY26 operational revenue of Rs. 28.7 Cr (up 12% YoY), entirely from its Specialty Cable Division. EBITDA improved to 8.9%. The Kavach (Train Signalling) division incurred a Rs. 10.09 Cr loss due to setup costs, with no Q1 revenue as ISA certification is pending. The company holds a robust order book of Rs. 984 Cr for Kavach (1,200 locomotives, track systems) and Rs. 40 Cr for cables. Production for Kavach is in full swing, and field trials are set to begin soon. Management is confident of receiving ISA approval, enabling execution within the December 2025 deadline. The cable business is being revived, targeting solar, EV, and export markets for future growth. Management remains optimistic for the year ahead.
