Godawari Power And Ispat limited — Important, 05-08-2025: Capacity addition

Godawari Power & Ispat is expanding aggressively. The company approved a new 0.7 MTPA Cold Rolling Mill for ₹900 Cr, aiming to produce CR coil, color coated, and zinc aluminum products to meet growing demand. This is expected by April 2027, financed via debt and internal accruals. Additionally, GPIL's subsidiary will set up a 10 Gwh Battery Energy Storage System Plant for ₹700 Cr by March 2026 to manufacture battery packs and containers, funded by a debt-equity mix. These investments diversify GPIL's portfolio into new growth markets.
