Steel Exchange India has formed a strategic non-binding collaboration with Vizag Profiles Logistics and Hind Terminals to explore developing a General Cargo Terminal and Multi-Modal Logistics Park in Visakhapatnam. This partnership aims to enhance multimodal cargo movement, encompassing container trains, coastal shipping, and rail transport for steel and general goods. Leveraging SEIL’s rail siding and its partners' logistics expertise, the initiative seeks to improve efficiency and reduce transit times. This move is poised to significantly boost SEIL's supply chain, unlock value from its logistics assets, and strengthen the long-term competitiveness of its core steel business.
