The company's Board of Directors has approved significant governance changes. Mr. Gangaram Bhanjibhai Patel, a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of experience, was appointed Chairman and an Independent Director for a five-year term. Mr. Yogen Pranjivandas Patel and Mr. Narottam Chaturdas Tanna were also appointed as Independent Directors for five years, bringing diverse expertise in planning, public policy, and the edible oil business. Concurrently, Shri Pradeep S Shah was removed from the Chairmanship. The board also reconstituted its Audit, Nomination & Remuneration, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Stakeholders Relationship Committees. These changes aim to strengthen the board and its oversight functions.
