Sangam (India) Ltd's board has approved a strategic move to acquire a Recycle Polyester Staple Fibre Manufacturing Unit. This acquisition enhances operational efficiency by reducing logistics costs and secures a reliable supply of recycled polyester, boosting margins and cost stability. The unit has a capacity of 45 TPD, meeting ~50% of daily polyester fibre needs and is projected to save Rs 11 Cr annually. This also strengthens the company's ESG standing and export opportunities by aligning with global brands' recycled content mandates. Additionally, the board appointed Protiviti India as Internal Auditor for FY25-26.
