Dwarikesh Sugar reported a Q1 FY26 net loss of Rs. 9.38 Cr, narrowed from Rs. 9.73 Cr last year, with total income up to Rs. 405.97 Cr. This quarter saw negligible sugar production due to early end of crushing and distillery operations, leading to under-absorbed overheads. Positively, industrial alcohol sales surged to 21,649 KL, and sugar realizations improved to Rs. 3,962/quintal. The company has cleared 2024-25 cane dues. Outlook: Higher crushing volumes and improved recovery rates are anticipated for upcoming seasons, with sugar prices expected to remain firm. Debt stands at Rs. 132.33 Cr for distillery projects.
