Sangam (India) Limited's board has approved the acquisition of a Recycle Polyester Staple Fibre (RPSF) manufacturing unit for up to Rs. 52.51 Cr. This strategic move aims to boost operational efficiency, enhance backward integration for cost leadership, and strengthen the company's ESG profile by using recycled materials. The unit is expected to meet about 50% of daily polyester fibre needs, projecting annual savings of Rs 11 Cr, and support export opportunities by meeting global brands' recycled content mandates. Additionally, M/s. Protiviti India Member Private Limited was appointed as the Internal Auditor for FY25-26.
