Timken India reported Q1 FY26 revenue of INR808.8 crore, up 3.2% year-on-year, marking its best-ever first quarter. Profit Before Tax (PBT) was INR130.4 crore, flat YoY, with PBT margin at 16.1% aided by cost control efforts. Management highlighted resilient demand in core industrial segments and continued focus on operational efficiency.

The new Bharuch plant successfully capitalized one CRB line, commencing commercial production in late June with invoicing from July, targeting 45-50% utilization by year-end. Investments for rail expansion in Jamshedpur (INR120 crore) and a plain bearing line in Bharuch (INR35 crore) are progressing.

Management sees slow and steady growth for the rail segment and a mixed outlook for the process industry. They emphasized volume leverage as crucial for margin improvement. The company is also exploring expanding its portfolio with parent company's non-bearing products in India. Overall, the sentiment reflects confident strategic execution amidst macroeconomic vigilance.
