Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers (MANGCHEFER) is acquiring Zuari Agro Chemicals' Single Super Phosphate (SSP) plant and related business for ₹72.75 Cr cash. This strategic move adds a 200,000 TPA SSP capacity to MANGCHEFER's operations. The acquired business had a turnover of ₹47.80 Cr in FY25. This acquisition aims to boost MANGCHEFER's overall turnover and margins by expanding its product portfolio, leveraging SSP as a key alternative to DAP. The transaction is expected to be completed within three months.
