Infibeam Avenues' board has approved selling its Ecommerce Platform Infrastructure business via slump sale to its subsidiary, Rediff.com India Ltd., for INR 800.39 Cr. The consideration includes INR 400 Cr in cash and INR 400.39 Cr through new Rediff shares, increasing Infibeam's stake in Rediff to 82.7%. This strategic move enables Infibeam to sharpen its focus on high-growth digital payments (CCAvenue) and AI (Phronetic.ai). Rediff.com will integrate the platform into its RediffOne suite, bolstering its enterprise SaaS and e-commerce offerings. The deal awaits shareholder and regulatory approvals.
