KPIT Technologies has finalized its Caresoft acquisition for up to US$157 million (~1310 Cr). This deal significantly strengthens KPIT's Vehicle Engineering & Design and Truck, Off-Highway services, integrating key engineering capabilities for faster market entry and OEM cost savings. Further, KPIT will strategically invest up to US$10 million (~83.5 Cr) in Helm.ai, an AI software firm for self-driving cars. This investment aligns with KPIT's Software-Defined Vehicles focus, providing access to advanced AI and boosting joint go-to-market efforts in autonomous driving solutions.
