08-08-2025 | 05:01 pm

Singer India's Board has approved the financial results for the quarter, following the Audit Committee's review. Revenue from operations for the quarter stood at ₹92.10 Cr, down from ₹98.69 Cr year-over-year, leading to a loss of ₹2.36 Cr versus a ₹0.56 Cr profit in the prior year. The decline was seen across both Sewing Machines and Domestic Appliances segments. Operational challenges include an ongoing issue with a supplier's BIS license for Zig-Zag machines, leading the company to evaluate alternative models. Separately, a fire at the registered office caused no business disruption, thanks to cloud-based systems; damage assessment is underway for insurance.
