Rushil Decor posted Q1 revenue of Rs 179.2 Cr and a net loss of Rs 14.1 Cr, primarily due to an April fire at its Andhra Pradesh MDF plant, leading to a 43-day shutdown. Production resumed by mid-May, with insurance claims being filed for material damage (estimated Rs 7 Cr) and profit loss. Despite volume declines, MDF and Laminates segments saw blended realizations improve by 4.5% and 5.0% YoY, respectively. The new Jumbo Laminates Phase 1 began commercial production and is set for Q2 dispatches. Phase 2 expansion aims for Q3. Management anticipates significant Q2 performance improvement.
