Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers and Chemicals' Q1 FY26 revenue was impacted by ₹375 Cr and PBT by ₹148 Cr due to planned shutdowns. Fertilizer segment losses grew to ₹100 Cr, driven by lower urea volume (40k tons) and ₹13 Cr energy under-recovery. Management expects energy and fixed cost norms to be revised by Q3 FY26, potentially boosting fertilizer profitability. TDI production hit 16k MT, with a smooth run target of 67k MT for FY26. TDI prices increased by ₹12,000, with exports showing better realization. Strategic consultants have identified cost reduction and investment areas, with implementation discussions underway.
