12-08-2025 | 05:23 pm

Kirloskar Ferrous Industries' Q1 FY26 earnings showed sales at ₹1,685 crore, up 8.5%, and EBITDA at ₹214 crore, a 14% increase year-on-year. Despite commodity price pressure on pig iron and steel, casting volumes grew 6% and tube volumes soared 32%. The company significantly cut power costs. Future growth drivers include converting a Koppal blast furnace for steel production to support tubes (₹700-800 crore CAPEX, 2.5 years for completion), aiming for 15-16% tube EBITDA. Casting capacity expansion continues, targeting a 2 lakh ton annual run rate. They also plan to develop the Jambunatha iron ore mine. FY26 CAPEX is estimated at ₹500-600 crore.
