Walking Tree Technologies has launched an open offer to acquire up to 9.34 lakh shares, representing 26.02% of Octaware Technologies, for approximately ₹2.80 Cr, at ₹30 per share in cash. This offer follows Walking Tree's acquisition of 12.48 lakh shares (34.76%) from an Octaware promoter for approximately ₹3.12 Cr, at ₹25 per share. Post-acquisition and open offer, Walking Tree's stake in Octaware will increase to 71.92%. This strategic move results in Walking Tree becoming a joint promoter of Octaware, gaining joint control, with no plans to delist the company.
