ONGC announced its Q1 FY26 financial results. Consolidated net profit rose 18.2% to ₹11,554 crore, though standalone net profit dipped 10.2% to ₹8,024 crore, impacted by lower crude oil realizations. Standalone crude oil production increased 1.2%, with new well gas revenue hitting ₹1,703 crore. Operationally, ONGC made two offshore hydrocarbon discoveries. Production commenced from the PY-3 Field, the North Karanpura CBM block, and gas supply to the CGD sector from Palatana. ONGC also commissioned its largest ASP plant and the first onshore Multiphase Pumping System, enhancing efficiency.
