Selan Exploration Technology has completed its merger with AEPL, soon to be renamed Antelopus Selan Energy. Production has commenced from the KG Basin’s Dangeru field. The company drilled two new wells in Karjisan, with production expected by end-August, and the Duarmara well is 50% drilled for Q2 FY26 production. Selan also acquired the remaining 50% participating interest in the Cambay Block. Q1 FY26 saw a total income of Rs 53.56 Cr and net profit of Rs 11.22 Cr, a decline primarily due to lower commodity prices and operational downtime in Bakrol, though EBITDA margins remained strong at 56%. The focus is now on continuous drilling and production ramp-up.
