Kirloskar Ferrous reported Q1 sales of Rs. 1,685 Cr (+8.5% YoY) and PAT of Rs. 96 Cr (+26% YoY). Performance was boosted by a lower power cost (6.1% of sales) and strong demand for castings and tubes. Foundries are at full capacity, targeting 1.7 lakh tons casting sales this year. Tube sales jumped 42%, with a 2 lakh tons volume goal aiming for 14% EBITDA, despite market dumping. Strategically, KFIL will invest Rs. 700-800 Cr over 2.5 years to convert pig iron into steel blooms at Koppal, boosting value. FY26 CAPEX is planned at Rs. 500-600 Cr for green energy and capacity expansion.
