NTPC's wholly-owned subsidiary NEEPCO, in a JV with Arunachal Pradesh Govt, has secured approval for the 700 MW Tato-II Hydro Electric Project. This significant power project in Shi Yomi District involves an outlay of Rs. 8146.21 crore with a 72-month completion target. The project will generate 2738.06 MU of energy, boosting Arunachal Pradesh's power supply and aiding national grid balancing. The Indian Government will provide substantial budgetary support for infrastructure and the State's equity, promising significant regional development and job creation.
