3i Infotech's board has approved initiating bankruptcy proceedings for its Saudi Arabian subsidiary, 3i Infotech Saudi Arabia LLC. This follows a failed amnesty scheme for SAR 11.4 million (Rs 25.73 Cr) in outstanding taxes from previous financial years. Voluntary liquidation, previously planned, is no longer viable under Saudi law. The Saudi subsidiary, which reported Rs 30.08 Cr turnover and a net worth of Rs (96.26) Cr in FY25, is not a material subsidiary, limiting potential impact on the parent company. Completion expected by March 2026.
