Deepak Nitrite (DNL) reported Q1 FY26 consolidated total income of ₹1,897 Cr and EBITDA of ₹197 Cr. While Advanced Intermediates faced global headwinds and pricing pressure due to oversupply, the Phenolics segment demonstrated resilience with steady volumes and improved margins. The company is actively progressing significant capex: ₹8,500 Cr for India's first integrated Polycarbonate plant (FY28) and ₹10,000 Cr for specialty chemicals expansion. New MIBK/MIBC units are slated for H2 FY26, alongside WNA and an R&D Centre in Q2 FY26. DNL is also shifting to 60-70% renewable energy, expecting significant cost savings. Outlook points to agrochemical recovery and new capacity ramp-ups for sustained growth.
