Avenue Supermarts Limited — Others, 14-08-2025: Shareholders meeting

Avenue Supermarts' 25th Annual General Meeting saw all nine proposed resolutions approved by shareholders. This includes the adoption of the latest financial statements and the re-appointment of two directors, with a new independent director also appointed. Shareholders also greenlit significant related party transactions with subsidiary Avenue E-Commerce Limited. These involve sale of goods up to Rs 3,500 Cr, sale and purchase of assets up to Rs 5 Cr each, and a strategic investment of up to Rs 500 Cr in the e-commerce arm. These approvals strengthen governance and underpin growth plans for the online venture.
