Bharat Dynamics Limited — Results, 14-08-2025: Reply to Clarification- Financial results

Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has issued a clarification regarding its financial results.

Firstly, BDL addressed the non-submission of consolidated financial results for certain entities. The company clarified that two associate companies, established as not-for-profit entities, were not consolidated because BDL does not have rights to variable returns from its involvement, beyond its equity investment. This was previously noted in their financial results for the year ended March 31, 2025.

Secondly, BDL explained a discrepancy in its XBRL filing where profit figures did not match the PDF version. This was due to an inadvertent error in the tax expense figure for the quarter. The XBRL submission incorrectly showed ₹160.48 Cr (₹16,047.81 lakh) for tax expense, while the correct figure was ₹105.40 Cr (₹10,540.31 lakh). BDL is seeking permission to refile the revised financial results in XBRL format to correct this discrepancy.
