Glenmark Pharma's board has approved the transfer of its Consumer Care business to a new wholly-owned subsidiary, Glenmark Consumer Care Limited. This strategic move aims to sharpen focus, enhance operational agility, and drive value creation. The Consumer Care business contributed INR 514.7 Cr turnover (5.6% of standalone) and INR 249.2 Cr net worth (1.0% of standalone) in the last fiscal year. The transfer value is approximately INR 240.40 Cr. The company also appointed Ms. Patricia Andrews as an Independent Director, bringing extensive pharma/biotech leadership experience to the board. New Statutory and Secretarial Auditors were also appointed.
