Hindustan Copper's Board approved the financial results for the quarter. Profit Before Tax (PBT) surged 16.37% to Rs 179.36 crore. Profit After Tax (PAT) grew 18.40% to Rs 134.28 crore. Revenue from Operations reached Rs 516.37 crore, up from Rs 493.60 crore compared to the prior period. Anticipating rising copper demand due to global shifts towards renewable energy and electric mobility, the company is implementing an ambitious mine expansion plan. This aims to triple capacity from 4 MTPA to 12 MTPA, positioning HCL for significant future growth.
