Lloyds Metals and Energy Limited has announced an Extraordinary General Meeting to approve key strategic initiatives. The company seeks approval for two new independent directors, Mr. Sujit Kumar Varma and Dr. Anita Shantaram, to strengthen board expertise. Shareholders will also vote on re-designating Mr. Shabbirhusein Khandwawala, making him eligible for stock options. Additionally, approvals for substantial annual related party transactions with Thriveni Pellets (₹5,000 Cr), Thriveni Earth Movers (₹4,500 Cr), Brahmani River Pellets (₹4,000 Cr), and a new Dubai subsidiary (₹1,500 Cr) are sought for operational synergy.
