Davangere Sugar (DSCL) reported FY25 revenue of ₹214.99 Cr and PAT of ₹10.83 Cr. While overall revenue slightly dipped, the Distillery (Ethanol) segment emerged as a significant growth driver, with its revenue reaching ₹150.39 Cr in FY25.

DSCL is strategically expanding its ethanol capacity from 65 KLPD to 85 KLPD by 2025 and aiming to boost sugarcane cultivation by 15,000 acres. Key initiatives include maximizing year-round ethanol output using diverse feedstocks and developing a CO₂ capture plant for new revenue streams.

Recently, the company initiated the expansion of its ethanol and CO2 recovery plants. DSCL is also undertaking a Rights Issue to raise up to ₹149.22 Cr, primarily aimed at debt reduction.

Management is focused on innovation and sustainable growth, aiming to create stakeholder value. The company is well-positioned in India's expanding sugar and ethanol markets, benefiting from strong government blending mandates and a positive industry outlook.
