Prima Plastics has called a meeting for its equity shareholders to consider and approve a Scheme of Arrangement. This involves demerging its Rotational Moulding ('Roto') Business into a new, separate listed entity, Prima Innovation Limited. The strategic move aims to create two focused companies, enabling sharper growth strategies and unlocking value for shareholders. Under the scheme, Prima Plastics shareholders will receive one fully paid-up equity share of Prima Innovation (INR 5 face value) for every one fully paid-up equity share of Prima Plastics (INR 10 face value) they hold. The board supports this arrangement, viewing it as beneficial for all stakeholders.
