TVS Motor Company's step-down subsidiary, Norton UK, has established a new wholly-owned entity: Norton Motorcycle Private Limited (Norton India). This strategic move aims to expand the premium Norton brand's business presence in India. Norton UK has fully subscribed to Norton India's shares for an initial investment of approximately Rs 0.01 Cr, with an authorized capital of around Rs 0.15 Cr. As a 100% owned step-down subsidiary, Norton India is newly incorporated and yet to commence business, paving the way for future market development for the Norton brand in the Indian automotive sector.
