Foseco India Limited, along with its Persons Acting in Concert, has announced an Open Offer to acquire up to 14,00,000 equity shares of Morganite Crucible (India) Limited, representing 25.00% of its voting capital, at INR 1,557.15 per share for a total of up to INR 218.00 Cr. This offer follows Foseco's agreement to purchase 42,00,000 shares (75.00% voting capital) from the current promoters at INR 1,557 per share, an acquisition valued at INR 653.94 Cr. This transaction will result in a change of control, with Foseco India becoming the new promoter of Morganite Crucible, significantly impacting ownership and strategic direction for shareholders.
