Simplex Castings' Board has approved the preferential allotment of 2,78,614 equity shares to promoter Ketan Moolchand Shah. These shares, with a face value of ₹10 each, were issued at ₹246 per share, including a premium of ₹236, raising ₹6.85 Crore for the company. This allotment increases the paid-up share capital from ₹7.49 Crore to ₹7.77 Crore. Shareholder approval for this issue was previously obtained, and the company will now seek listing and trading approvals for the newly issued shares.
