Media Release: Hon’ble Supreme Court of India,

dismisses the petition filed by Mr. Robin Raina

against Eraaya Lifespaces Ltd.

New Delhi, August 30, 2025: In his attempt to assert his purported claim in the ownership

of Eraaya Lifespaces Ltd and its Global Subsidiaries operating under Ebix Inc, Mr. Robin Raina,

former CEO of Ebix Inc., had filed a Special Leave Petition against Eraaya and others, before

Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

After hearing the arguments of the parties, the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India’s Bench lead

by the Hon’ble Chief Justice of India, dismissed the petition filed by Mr. Robin Raina.

Eraaya’s legal team lead by Sh. Mukul Rohatgi, Learned Senior Advocate and former Attorney

General of India had argued before the Hon’ble Apex Court and earlier, also before the Hon’ble

Delhi High Court, that the alleged claims of Mr. Raina were premised on a forged document.

For the last one year, Mr. Raina’s repeated attempts with the underlying intention to

destabilise Eraaya and its Global Subsidiaries operating under Ebix Inc, have remained futile,

which exhibits total lack of substance in his claims and reaffirms the Eraaya’s position.

In the background, Mr. Robin Raina had previously filed a similar claim before the Hon’ble

Delhi High Court, seeking various reliefs based on the very same forged document. However,

despite more than half a dozen of interim applications filed in the last eleven months, the

Hon’ble Delhi High Court has not accepted the pleas of Mr. Raina, and during the proceedings

before the Hon’ble Delhi High Court, Dr. Abhishek Manu Singhvi, Learned Senior Advocate

appearing on behalf of Ebix and Eraaya, demonstrated that even prima facie the claims of Mr.

Raina, were not only premised on a forged document but, otherwise also, the same were an

utter commercial nonsense.
