Shankara Building Products Limited — JV/Acquisition, 01-09-2025: Demerger

The National Company Law Tribunal has approved the demerger of Shankara Building Products' (SBPL) Trading Business into Shankara Buildpro Limited (SBL). This strategic move aims to create a dedicated vertical, enhance operational focus, and unlock value for shareholders. For every 1 equity share of SBPL held, investors will receive 1 equity share of SBL. The newly demerged SBL shares will be separately listed on stock exchanges, offering investors greater flexibility and potential for focused growth in both entities.
